Wladyslaw Szyszko (1944 Krakow) - illustrator, archaeologist and art conservator. Graduate of the Institute of Archaeology of the Faculty of Philosophy and History of the Jagiellonian University (1966) and the Department of Conservation of Works of Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1971). He studied painting in the studio of Prof. Adam Marczyński. He made his debut by showing his drawings at Piwnica pod Baranami in the mid-1960s. Author of scholarly publications on the art of ancient Egypt and Greece. He participated in more than 80. group exhibitions and dozens of individual exhibitions at home and abroad in Vienna, Berlin, Munich , London, Stockholm, Geneva, among others.
