acrylic, canvas, 120 x 80 cm, signed p.d.: 'FUCHS'
Visual artist specializing in acrylic painting and collage. His work is distinguished by a keen eye for detail, combined with a palpable freedom of the painting gesture, which gives the depicted scenes a dreamlike, dreamy-reflective character.
The artist is educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he develops his formal language and technique. The source of inspiration for him is nature - both as a material of observation and as a space of meaning. His works focus on landscape and genre scenes, which are invariably set in natural surroundings. In Fuchs' approach, nature is not merely a background, but becomes a full-fledged protagonist of the representations, building their mood and narrative.
