"I discovered Barbara Kozlowska's art thanks to the Arton Foundation, which works on behalf of forgotten female artists. Barbara Kozlowska is very close to me because of the fact that she was first and foremost a performance artist working on her subjectivity and exploring her relationship with the world. At the same time, she was, like me, a very separate figure, an original and going against the grain individualist.

She worked with processuality and ephemerality and focused on time. The work I chose for the auction refers to the disappearance of femininity, in relation to the violence used against us. The photographs reflect the process by which we are confronted with difficult situations, our relationship with the world, and show how we find and shape ourselves in the modern world. Like Barbara Kozlowska, I focus here on ephemerality (photographs change over time, thanks to the work of prints on old baryta paper, with light), performativity - (women's bodies reflect emotions, experiences and experiences). Like the artist I chose, I am not afraid to defy the public norms and speak out about issues that are often hidden and invisible."

Biography
Painter and performer. She graduated from painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. She creates process art. In 2013 she realized the project "Twelve Month War". She is a two-time scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, finalist of the Bielska Jesień Painting Biennale (honorable mention "Obieg" 2015), the 10th E. Geppert competition in Wroclaw, the 6th Triennale of the Young in Oronsko or the Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation competition at MOCAK. She has participated in many individual exhibitions and collective activities, e.g.: at SCC Gallery in Isfahan (Iran), Entropia Gallery in Wroclaw, BWA in Zielona Gora, CCA in Torun, Festival in Sokolowsk, ERARTA in St. Petersburg (Russia).
