A variant featuring the Lewart coat of arms (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) in the shield, the mint mark “hooks” (of Mint Master Teodor Busch) on the right, the abbreviated date 94 on the left, and the initials I–F (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) on both sides of the shield.
On both sides of the mint mark “hooks,” the initials V-I (Valenty Jahns—leaseholder of the Poznań mint).
A variant with the king’s title SIGI 3 … in the rim on the obverse and the inscription … POLONIÆ… on the reverse—not described by Iger.
Condition: 2–
A double-struck and locally under-struck, yet beautifully preserved piece. An inscription variant not described by Iger. An attractive coin for specialized collections.
