Portrait of the king with an elongated bust, wearing a tall crown with lilies within a heart-shaped border.
A variant featuring the Lewart coat of arms (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) in the shield, the mint mark “hooks” (of Mint Master Teodor Busch) on the left, the abbreviated date 91 on the right, and the initials I–F (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) on both sides of the shield.
A variant with the king’s title SIGI 3 ... LI in the rim on the obverse and the inscription ... POLONIA ... on the reverse—rare, not described in Tadeusz Iger’s specialized catalog of trojaks.
Condition: NGC AUD
The coin has been cleaned but is very nicely struck and preserved. A rare inscription variant not described by Iger. The coin is graded NGC Slab. An attractive piece for specialized collections.
