1 zloty banknote , 1919 "WZÓR," Series S. 46 B, design print run number: 4040

Banknote with the diagonal overprint “WZÓR.”(with a period) on both sides, between two parallel lines, and the overprint “Bez wartości” (No value) appearing twice on each side of the banknote; overprints in red. Sequential banknote number: 061,644; printed prototype issue number: 4040. The banknote is perforated twice horizontally.

This variant of the series (S. 46 B) is known from 22 different pieces (out of 60 known variants in total)*.

A beautiful piece, confirmed by a high PMG grading score, featuring the small stapler holes typical of these designs—as noted in the description on the slab. This type of design with perforation, due to the technique used to create it, is very difficult to obtain in bank-quality condition; pieces such as the one in this auction are extremely rare.
