Bust of Sigismund I the Old wearing a crown and armor (Romanesque type 2). Shoulder guard consisting of two elements. The collar of the armor consists of five elements. A crown with clasps.
A variant of the Gdańsk coat of arms featuring small crosses with thick, equal arms (Romańczyk type 1).
A variant with an inscription featuring the king’s title ending with ... PR
A variant with punctuation featuring large rosettes dividing the border inscription on the obverse and reverse.
Condition: 2/2+
Minor surface scratches (visible in the photos) and slight localized under-strikes, but a beautifully preserved piece. Good lustre and plenty of mint mirror finish. A beautiful coin.
