Sigismund I the Old, Grosz 1529, Kraków
A variant featuring the Odrowąż coat of arms between rosettes on the obverse.
An open crown with a two-segment rim decorated with flowers (Romanesque type 4). The space within the rim is filled with arches.
An eagle with a thick torso and wings and a long neck (Romańczyk type 4). The plumage on the torso is rendered as squares. The tail is narrow.
Condition:
Minor localized wear, but a beautifully preserved piece. Good detail. Luster and plenty of mint mirror finish. A beautiful coin.
