Zygmunt BRACHMAŃSKI (1936-2024)
Sculptor and medalist associated with the Silesian artistic community. From 1953-1959 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, receiving his diploma from Prof. Jerzy Bandura in 1959. The artist is the author of monuments, including Wojciech Korfanty in Katowice, the monument to the September Scouts in Katowice, the statuette of the Silesian Literary Laurel, the Konrad Laurel - National Festival of Directing Art "Interpretations", sculptures in the Provincial Park of Culture and Leisure in Chorzow.
