Stanisław Brach was born in 1972 in Gorlice. He is a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 2010, he has headed the Ceramics Studio at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. A graduate of the Sculpture Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he earned his diploma in Prof. Marian Konieczny’s studio in 2000, and of the Ceramics Technical School in Łysa Góra (1987–1993). In 2014, he earned his postdoctoral degree in the field of fine arts at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Recipient of the Rector’s Award from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2011), recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2014), and creator of the artistic project “Two Spaces.” Finalist in the international Taiwan Ceramics Biennale 2016 competition, and recipient of a gold medal for his work *Flowing with Honey* at the 45th Apimondia 2017, International Apicultural Congress, Istanbul, Turkey, and the 46th Apimondia 2019, International Apicultural Congress, Montreal, Canada. Organizer of dozens of solo and group exhibitions; participant in numerous open-air workshops and international competitions, including in Italy, Japan, and Taiwan. Works in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Sculpture at the Polish Sculpture Center in Orońsko, the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy; the New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taiwan; the Palace of Arts in Lviv ; and in private collections.
