Piotr Olbrychowski is a Polish painter and sculptor who graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts at the Polish Academy of Fine Arts in Czestochowa with a degree in sculpture in 1991. He specializes in urban vedutas (city views), still lifes and marine art. He often paints atmospheric scenes of old Warsaw, Cracow, Venice or just Paris, referring to the style of the masters of Polish realism.His works are characterized by attention to the rendering of light and atmosphere, often depicting cities in the rain, fog or by the light of lanterns at night.
He has exhibited his works at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw and at the group exhibition "EXPO" in Paris in 1992, among others. His paintings are in private collections throughout Europe.
