Katarzyna Czajka
Member of the Association of Artists of Polish Applied Arts. Constantly looking for something, perfecting something, breaking standards, opening new doors, then another and another.... and never closes them.
Sometimes she shocks, others she fascinates, but she doesn't leave anyone indifferent. What inspires her?
Where does she find the world that she then conjures up with brush and paint? To this question Kasia always answers: "I want my paintings to tell a story, to show emotions." Her paintings are very personal, operating with plastic metaphor, convincing, sincere, devoid of drabness and cheap sentimentalism, and are part of the thread of art set by such artists as A. Modgligani, M. Chagall, E. Schiele.
