like many of the virgins evoked under the name of Our Lady of Conception, she appears bareheaded, with her hair separated into two well-groomed wavy locks that fall freely over her shoulders and down her back. The pedestal is a crescent moon and the presence of a winged putto reinforces the theory of the supporting angels preferred in the statues of Our Lady of Conception.
