Otto Press German landscape painter strongly associated with Berlin, where he studied and worked.
Press painted mainly mountain landscapes in dark tones of green and brown, which were probably echoes of his travels in Austria, Switzerland, Tyrol and Norway.
Otto Press's paintings were exhibited in Vienna in 1885 and in Berlin in 1866-1888, including at an exhibition organized by the Academy of Fine Arts (1870).
