Otto Pippel - German painter of landscapes, portraits and interiors, printmaker. He studied in Strasbourg, Karlsruhe and Dresden. He traveled extensively, including to France, Italy and Russia. His painterly work shows strong inspiration from Impressionist painting. At the same time, the impasto painting texture enhances the peculiar expression of the artist's works.
