Born in 1959 in Miączyn. In 1979, he graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Zamość. From 1980 to 1984, he studied at the Institute of Art Education at UMCS in Lublin. He received his diploma in graphic arts with honors from the flat print (lithography) studio under Prof. Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka.
He currently works in drawing and painting. His works are held in private collections in Poland and abroad (England, the U.S., Germany, Bulgaria, Belgium, China, Austria, Australia), as well as
at the Museum in Lubaczów, the Nowa Huta Cultural Center in Kraków, the Hrubieszów Cultural Center, the BWA Gallery in Zamość, the Museum in Kutno, and the Museum in Bielsko-Biała.
Recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art in 1997. He exhibits his paintings at auctions held by the Art. in House Auction House and Art Gallery in Warsaw, Pragaleria in Warsaw, 101 Projekt in Warsaw, the Mabello Art Gallery in Toruń, and the Black Art Auction House in Poręba. He has participated in dozens of solo and group exhibitions of drawing and painting in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Australia, and Thailand. In 2010, he was a recipient of the Certificate of the Highest Quality /Honorary Certificate of the Highest Quality – Short List/ at the 7th International Drawing Biennial in Plzeň (Czech Republic). He has received over a dozen awards and honors for his work in drawing and painting in national and international competitions. He has held 45 solo exhibitions and participated in over 100 group exhibitions.
The artist’s paintings and drawings are on permanent display at the “Pod Arkadami” Gallery
in Zamość, the BWA Zamojska Gallery, the WITRYNA Gallery in Lublin, the ATU Gallery
in Lublin, the Da Vinci Art Gallery in Gdańsk, the BWA Gallery in Sandomierz, the Glaza Design Gallery in Gdańsk, and the 101 Projekt Art Gallery and Auction House in Warsaw.
