Żaneta Chłostowska - Seamstress: "Thus, in my works I try to eliminate the background and create a contextless "spacelessness". Thanks to this, I try to emphasize, to give more significance to the subjects raised, which, clearly exposed, give us the possibility of undisturbed, intellectual search, interpretation from many different sides by entering "a kind of nothingness of spacelessness." In such circumstances of "non-existence" we ourselves also cannot retain our materiality and only remain: thought, imagination, logos. Being an indefinite part of this "peculiar nothingness," we can plunge into it unnoticed, taking advantage of this property immanent to it at will. Delving into the boundlessness also gives us the opportunity to see our own, often unconscious demons. Demons that lie within each of us, though we find it difficult to admit them. My goal is not to urge a ruthless fight against them, but to try to identify and tame them. Not a shock, but an in-depth therapy and achieving the effect of "unlearning..." They need to be abstracted, thought through, understood. There is only one way to emerge from this world. To turn your back."
