Rare badge of the private Dr. Jan Niemec School in Lviv, continuing the traditions of the school founded by the outstanding educator and naturalist Dr. Jan Niemec (1858–1920), who established a modern primary school in Lviv in 1910.
After his death in 1920, the school was named after him and operated as the Dr. Jan Niemiec School. Therefore, it does not appear on the lists of state secondary schools; it was a private primary school, not a state secondary school.
This also explains very well the symbolism of the tree of life badge, Jan Niemiec was known as a modern educator promoting child development, education through contact with nature and education through activity.
The badge has three holes for attaching it.
Badge from the Collection of Lech Kokociński, Honorary President of the Polish Numismatic Society.
