The traditional biblical theme of Loth and his daughters, in which eroticism and sensuality, already implicit in the theme, are enhanced by the complete nudity of two female bodies and the harsh and exotic landscape. The group of three figures is perfectly composed: the act is conducted with singular skill; the contrast between the old body of the father and the young and delicate bodies of the daughters is beautiful. The city of Sodom is burning in the background.
