A very nice piece, slightly off-center.

Variant without punctuation between “DO” and “TO”

Obverse: the crowned coat of arms of Gdańsk within a pearl border; the outer border bears an inscription beginning with the crossed hooks symbol:
GROSSVS•CIVI•GEDANEN•1539;

Reverse: within a pearl border, a royal bust in armor and a crown, facing right; in the outer border, a legend beginning with an asterisk:
SIGIS•I•REX•POLO•DO TO•PRVS;
