John II Casimir, Tymf 1663 AT, Bydgoszcz
On the obverse, the crowned monogram ICR. In the rim, a double inscription separated by a crown.
On the reverse, a crowned coat-of-arms shield. An inscription in the rim.
On the reverse, the letters A–T (the initials of Andrzej Tymf, the leaseholder of the Bydgoszcz mint) appear on either side of the shield.
Variant with the inscription … SALVS in the rim on the obverse and … NOVA … in the rim on the reverse.
Condition: 2-
Minor metal defects and fragmentary under-strike, but a beautifully preserved piece. Good luster and plenty of mint mirror. An attractive coin.
