1 grosz 1939 from the General Government, a zinc coin from the German occupation period. Although the coin bears the date 1939, it was actually struck between 1941 and 1944 and entered circulation on December 17, 1941.
This piece has been graded by NGC at the high MS 64 grade, which is particularly attractive for zinc coins from this period that are prone to oxidation and corrosion.
The coin has an even surface, retaining a lighter zinc color in places, thanks to which the details on the obverse and reverse remain very clearly visible. It shows no visible corrosion spots and has a very good overall appearance.
A must-have for collectors of General Government coins graded by NGC.
