Biography
Sculptor, illustrator, performer and author of spatial installations. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. Co-founder of the Penerstwo group. She treats the creative process as a tool for acquiring knowledge, transforming it and putting it back into circulation. She draws inspiration from the philosophy of atomism, quantum physics and chaos theory. From the beginning she experimented with matter, in her first realizations she used materials such as leather, bones, animal fat, wax, salt paste and plasticine. Over time, she also added plastics (silicone) and natural materials characteristic of rural architecture in countries of the global South - stone, clay, ash, rubber or plant fiber. She is the winner of the "Views 2015 - Deutsche Bank Foundation Award." She participated in the 32nd International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Sao Paulo (2016) and the 16th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia (2018), among others.
