Graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the State School of Wood Industry in Kolomyia, graduated in 1932. He mainly practiced easel painting. In 1939 he took part in the defense of the capital city, belonging to the Chief of Staff of the Army - Defense of Warsaw. During the Warsaw Uprising he was a courier for the Lublin Government Delegation. Dołgania's work is in the trend of realistic art, both in terms of content and form. This creative attitude was chosen by the artist consciously and with full commitment. This is because it is a path set by the historical tradition of Polish art. Landscape - which is the main subject of Feliks Dolgagin's painting - its beauty, is captured on canvas in direct contact with nature, with a specific place or event. Carefully selected motif, preserves the reality, but by the power of imagination and talent the artist transforms it with the use of painting matter - adapts it into a painting that works with authentic sincerity, sensitive colors, subtle mood; it becomes a source of aesthetic emotion for the viewer.
