Michal Suffczynski is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Detroit Mercy, a scholarship holder of the Residenza Universitaria Internazionale Foundation (Rome 1990) and the Government of the Republic of Italy (Perugia 1991, Siena 1997). One of the founders of the Association of Polish Watercolorists. He is also a participant in the academic exchange between the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Detroit, where he studied and later taught visual communication. His diploma was the design of the Gallery of Contemporary Art (supervisor: arch. Andrzej Miklaszewski).
From 2000 to 2008 he was an assistant, currently an assistant professor at the Drawing, Painting and Sculpture Studio of the Architecture Department of the Warsaw University of Technology. Ph.D.: "Structural drawing in the presentation of architectural space" (supervisor: Prof. Lech Klosiewicz, Ph.D., arch.).
Creator of illustrations in drawing and watercolor techniques for the media, advertising agencies, architectural firms and private collections. Author of a panorama of the center of Warsaw for Cushman& Wakefield.Presents works in art galleries in Warsaw, Lodz, Poznan, Torun, Gdansk, Krakow and in Zakopane in the studio of Jan Karpiel Bułecki.
Participant of international urban planning workshops in Brussels, Cairo, Berlin, Bucharest and St. Petersburg (cooperation with Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company), plein-air painting workshops in Kazimierz Dolny nad Wisłą, Toruń, Arezzo (Tuscany) and Sicily, as well as collective and individual exhibitions.
