About the Artist:
Thierry VAN QUICKENBORNE has been exhibiting his work since 1980. His reputation as an imaginative painter extends beyond the borders of France. He is a member of the Taylor Foundation and has received numerous awards. His works are in many private collections and in the Stadt Bühl Museum (Baden-Baden, Germany). They also appear in art books such as "Apocalypses" and "The Horse in Fantasy Painting." He has presented his paintings in solo or group exhibitions in France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Spain, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and Belgium.

His works are close to surrealists, visionaries, steampunk, although he does not really belong to these movements. So it is a painting anchored in its time, remaining somewhere on the margins of these currents.
