Born in 1976, painter and tattoo artist, for almost three decades co-creating the history of Polish tattooing. His work grows out of his experience working with skin, drawing and line, which he translates into his own recognizable painterly language.
In tattooing he draws on oriental inspirations and the aesthetics of H.R. Giger's biomechanics, interpreting them in his own way. He works free-hand, drawing directly on the skin with his characteristic strong line. He is the author of tattoos of many representatives of the cultural and media world.
In painting he experiments with form, color and structure. His paintings are characterized by expressive colors and a geometrized way of depicting the body. Sharp angles and broken planes become a tool of conscious deformation of anatomy in the spirit of Cubist stylization. The artist operates with the color spot as a structural element of the painting - color acts as a carrier of drama and emotion.
In his works one can find echoes of Picasso's interwar work, the sculptural thinking about form characteristic of Brancusi and references to Modigliani's modernist nudes.
An important motif in his work is the female body - depicted as simultaneously strong and fragile, deconstructed, yet aware of its own presence. His interest in femininity also found expression in the author's "Junior Ink Women" project, carried out between 2007 and 2020, which included six editions of a series of photographs presenting freedom in self-expression and breaking social taboos associated with the art of tattooing. The project was accompanied by a limited edition calendar, often referred to as the "Pirelli Calendar" of the tattoo industry.
The artist has had several solo exhibitions and art projects to his credit. He debuted in 2008 with the exhibition "Junior No. 1." In 2009, together with Marcin Łukasiewicz, he realized the project "Postcards from Norblin", created in the industrial spaces of the former Norblin factory in Warsaw. In 2020, he organized an online opening of the exhibition "Ostre widzenie", combined with an auction of works, the proceeds of which were allocated to support the Children's Home in Żary.
In 2025, he presented the exhibition "Year of the Dragon. Art Written with Images," the culmination of a year-long project inspired by the symbol of the dragon - one of the most important motifs in his tattoo work, and a personal reference of the artist, born in the year of the dragon.
