"BREJDAK" is a term for a brother from Lublin from where the artist hails. The painting is one of two brothers which shows the otherness and at the same time a common reverence. Individual layer as a vision - an image appearing in the artist's imagination. Seemingly different, however, combined / superimposed on each other, create matter - a finished work. Painting and carpentry works by Mikula are color-saturated juxtapositions of shapes and layers, inspired by the world around him - from nature to everyday life.
