Biography
Agnieszka Brzezinska, born in 1975 in Walbrzych, an artist, from 2014 to 2019 studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, where she received her diploma realized under the guidance of Professor Janusz Merkel in 2019. In her work, the artist primarily moves in the area of abstract painting. She transforms the observed reality, but it is difficult to see elements taken from reality in the paintings themselves. The essence of the works is not focused on their "meaning" or "understanding" but on their "feeling." He strives first and foremost to evoke an artistic experience in the viewer - awe, emotion, strength or reverie. The research topic to which she devotes all her attention is structure. In her works you can see the effort to find new forms of expression, diligence in building a multi-layered composition, devoid of shapes and figures, and appealing only by structure and color. The artist does not strive for the effect of prettiness and pleasing viewers with fashion. She uses her own painting technique for solutions to real and difficult plastic problems, and does not limit herself to a narrow number of obvious colors, but gives us subtle colors, new combinations of forms and colors, original and intriguing.
