Biography
Agata Padol graduated with honors from the University of Arts in Poznan in 1991, at the Faculty of Art Education in the Painting Studio of Prof. Piotr C. Kowalski. The artist does painting on canvas in oil and acrylic techniques. She also has experience in large-format works and frescoes on historical objects. She is competent as an art curator, art critic and specialist in artwork analysis. In addition, she is involved in design in modern space. Her paintings are characterized by the search for a boundary or link between figurative and abstract art in relation to the factor of visual scale. She thinks and works in cycles. Hence framing and reducing or enlarging objects on a plane. She is interested in issues of femininity in relation to the sphere of emotion, spirituality, existence, poetry, social patterns, canons of beauty and the search for answers to many questions from this issue. She has many series of paintings presented in solo exhibitions in Poland, Great Britain, the USA, Norway, Germany or Italy. Her works are in museums and private collections in Poland and around the world.
