Hand closed, steel frame. Cross-barbed yoke, with oval half-barbs. The scabbard in the shape of a half-snap. Handle shaft of wood, wrapped with string, wrapped with black leather, forms regular notches. A long hood with cheeks at the hilt, gripped by a ring, riveted from the top with the shaft of the head. In the cheeks of the hood a transverse rivet, attaching the shaft of the handle. On the inner cross of the hilt minted military numerators. The steel hilt, polished, of considerable curvature, ground on both sides into a single wide medial furrow, with a boney long double-edged blade. The staff is symmetrical. On the back, under the cap, minted from below: the letter B topped with a crown, 49 (1849 year of admission to the army), the letters FW topped with a crown. P o c h w a steel, polished. Neck fixed in the scabbard sheath by a press fit. Underneath, two riffles with movable butt caps. The scabbard ended with an asymmetrical spur. Dents in the sheath in several places.
