Circa 1850 Percussion Double Barrel Shotgun. The barrel is smooth, dark patinated steel, with a gold decorated link and small engravings in the bascule area. The lock plate is fitted with a pair of percussion taps with finely profiled percussion springs. The walnut stock carries period-style repairs and is finely carved in the neck area for better grip. The metal parts show an even patina corresponding to the age of the weapon. Dimensions
