Born in Gdansk, Poland. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts in the studio of Prof. Hugo Lasecki and Prof. Włodzimierz Łajming. He received his diploma in 1989 from Prof. Włodzimierz Łajming. He obtained an appendix to his diploma in mural painting under Prof. Andrzej Dyakowski. From 1993 to 2000, he was an assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts, and from 2000 to 2011, he served as an assistant professor at the Studio of Knowledge of Actions and Visual Structures at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Since 2013, he has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Construction and Architecture and the Faculty of Design at ZUT in Szczecin. He is the recipient of many awards including the Minister of Culture and Art in the field of painting at the exhibition "Diploma 88-89", Toruń. In 1992 he received a foreign scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ärhus, Denmark.
