Offered composition from 1996, constructed from rhythmically repeated elements of black and navy blue, creating an effect of optical vibration and subtle tonal shifts in the space of the canvas. Berdowska's characteristic reduction of formal means results in a muted, almost hypnotic visual effect of the work.

The 1990s hold a special place in the artist's oeuvre. At that time Tamara Berdowska developed painting based on synthetic geometric and tonal arrangements. Paintings from this time are an important stage leading to later series related to the illusion of space, light and rhythm.

The painter's works can be found in the collections of the National Museum in Szczecin, the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko and foreign collections, and the artist herself was a grantee of, among others, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York.
