Works by Stanislaw Krzyształowski enrich the collections of many Polish museums. They can be found in national collections in Gdansk, Kielce, Cracow, Warsaw, among others. The artist realized himself mainly in landscape themes. He drew from both allusive abstraction and realistic conventions. The 1960 painting is an interesting example of the artist's search within the matter and composition of the artwork. The dense structure with a prominent, abstract form catches the viewer's attention. In this decade, the painter served as dean of the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 1961, he participated in the Exhibition of Painting on the 15th Anniversary of the People's Republic of Poland.
