Concrete poetry as an artistic direction developed especially in the 1950s and 1960s in Western Europe, and its characteristic feature is the combination of art and poetry, where words, letters, numbers form graphic systems. The word, the sign is the building block and the essence of the composition. Unfolded, it is, as Stanislaw Drozdz explained, isolated from any context. Thus, the visual form of the "picture" is shaped by the sign, which is its only content.
Stanislaw Drozdz defined his works as "concept-forms", which aptly defines their essence. Indeed, the words explored by the artist took on different forms, depending on the artist's intention. The work on offer is constructed solely of a single letter. In the field of the square, the multiplied "i" forms a symmetrical, thoughtful arrangement. This conjunction was the subject of the artist's exhibition at the "Arsenal" in Bialystok, among other places.
