She defended her diploma in 1972. She ran the Lonta-Petry Gallery in Częstochowa. She has participated in solo exhibitions in Poland,Holland, USA, Greece, Germany and Sweden. Her painting is situated on the borderline between realism and abstraction. The artist has developed a distinctive style in her work. The works are painted extremely thinly, their colors permeate each other. The color palette is strongly narrowed, usually to browns, ochres and greens. The subject matter of the works mainly includes landscapes, urban views, architecture, surrealist compositions. The contours of the elements of the composition often blur at the edges of the canvas into a uniform color patch. This creates an impression of ephemerality and mystery, as if the scene depicted is a record of a dream dissolving upon awakening. Asking price 800 Estimate 1200 - 1500
