His works are in private collections around the world, and can also be admired in galleries and museums, including The National Arts Club in New York, the Smithsonian Institute and Library of Congres in Washington, and the Suntory Museum in Osaka. Rafal Olbinski's work has been repeatedly awarded numerous prizes. The artist cooperates with magazines and has been involved in designing album covers for Polish performers. He is also the creator of many theater and opera posters. Over the years Olbinski has developed his own artistic language based on fantastic visions and the fairy-tale world of his imagination. Drawing on the tradition of surrealism, he creates paintings on the borderline of java and dream, although firmly anchored in the realistic convention, having little in common with realistic representation. The subject matter of the works is almost limitless.
