Piotr Lutyinski is an artist whose work escapes traditional classifications. Combining
painting, sculpture, installation, drawing and sound, he creates multidimensional works that are a form of
philosophical study of reality. For him, art is not only aesthetics, but above all a
first and foremost a cognitive tool - a way to reach hidden meanings and the essence of phenomena. As
member of the legendary "Krakow Underground" and the music group "Core," Lutyoski
consistently crosses the boundaries of artistic disciplines, creating his own language of expression.
His works, balancing on the borderline between visuality and sound, have been presented at the
major institutions of contemporary art, including Warsaw's Zachęta,
New York's Art in General, Krakow's MOCAK and Radom's "Elektrownia". Present in the
collections of the National Museum in Cracow, Starmach Gallery or Bunkier Sztuki, Lutyoski
has created a universal artistic idiom, which - despite its avant-garde character - speaks of the
fundamental human experiences. His work is a constant search for new
forms of expression, where traditional painting meets experimental sound, and
classical drawing with spatial installation, creating a coherent, albeit multi-threaded story about the
contemporary world.
