The painting was exhibited in the exhibition; "Frömmigkeit und Nachtgesichte - Naive Kunst aus Polen im Spiegel der Moderne" at the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen in 2016, from the collection of Marianne Kühn of Cologne. A separate catalog has not been published for the exhibition.
Miner, one of the most active members of the circle of amateur artists at the ZDK of the "Wieczorek" mine. In his paintings he depicted Silesian landscapes with characteristic heaps, chimneys, mine shafts. His lively and extremely colorful genre scenes show everyday and festive days of residents of mining settlements. In addition to painting, the artist practiced sculpture, but he left few works in wood and coal.
