Klaudyna Karczewska-Szymkowiak (born 1977) graduated from the Faculty of Painting
and Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in 2003. During her studies, she chose photography as her specialty in Witold Wegrzyn's studio, and there she became thoroughly familiar with classical photographic techniques and discovered ways to create her own world with light. Photography has become an important medium of artistic expression for her. As an artist, she is simultaneously engaged in easel painting and decorative painting in the broadest sense. She is a member of the Polish Artists' Union.
