Painter, illustrator, graphic designer, didactician. Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw for the terms 2012-2016 and 2016-2020. Since 2010, he has been running a drawing studio at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Author of dozens of exhibitions and critical texts.

"Line is to me what a word is to linguists - an act of knowledge and awareness. By understanding it and assimilating the concept of linearity, I set in motion a research process. I often reflect on its symbolism, on the meaning of drawing, which often defines the painterly form. It is no coincidence that I write here about the painterly form, because painterly drawing, understood in this way, nullifies the artificial divisions singling out printmaking, drawing and painting as separate fields of art. If I consider that an attribute of painting is color then the line I use is always colorful, too. Even though it might be black, white or gray, the decision to use them in this area is precisely my painterly choice."
