Irena Nowakowska-Acedańska (1906–1983), Tarnovo, Bulgaria
Watercolor and pencil on paper, 46 x 33.5 cm (inside the mat), 55.5 x 44 cm (frame)
Signed in the lower right corner: I. NOWAKOWSKA / - ACEDAŃSKA; in the lower left corner, the name of the place, currently invisible—the inscription has faded.
The painting is mounted in a wooden frame. The work is protected by a mat and glass.
Condition: Very good (well-preserved watercolor pigments, faded inscription, slight damage to the frame at the edges).
This was likely a sketch for an oil-on-canvas painting of this location, created in 1974.
