Biography
She studied at the Department of Graphic Arts at the Katowice branch of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Since then, she has been actively engaged in printmaking and drawing, while also serving as an active organizer of events dedicated to promoting these art forms in Poland and abroad, such as: the International Art Triennial in Kraków, and the graphic arts biennials in Ljubljana and Miskolc. Zawadzka is also the author of numerous texts and lectures on graphic arts. Recently, she has returned to her second passion, photography, treating it as an independent form of artistic expression. Her works are included in numerous art collections in Poland and abroad. She currently holds the position of full professor at her alma mater.
