Ernest Zawada was born on September 7, 1971 in Cieszyn. He is a graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Bielsko-Biała. In 1991-1995 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Painting, where in 1995 he received a diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Stefan Gierowski. He works in easel painting, installation, and is an organizer of art actions, spatial installations and happenings. He is the author of the publication "Learning to draw - learn from Polish masters". His works are in museum collections in: Acco (Israel), Vatican City, Bielsko-Biala and Wisla.
