Agata RUMAN (b. 1985, Pszczyna)
Graduate of the National High School of Fine Arts in Bielsko-Biala. She studied at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, where she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts with two majors - Painting and Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art.
She received her diploma in Painting in the studio of Prof. Jan Pręgowski and a diploma with distinction in Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art under the direction of Prof. Iwona Langowska and MA Maria Ruda in 2010.
Graduate of postgraduate studies - Graphic Design - at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (2017).
She works in painting and drawing. She works as a teacher at the Complex of Art Schools in Bielsko-Biala.
Author of several solo exhibitions ( Bielsko - Biała, Czechowice - Dziedzice, Pszczyna). She participated in several collective exhibitions ( Torun, Bielsko - Biala, Pszczyna, Göttingen - Germany). In 2018, her works were presented as part of the Art Fresh Festival program in Warsaw.
Her pre-war-inspired paintings are in many collections at home and abroad, including Sweden, Denmark and Belgium.
