MICHAEL BARANOWSKI painter, illustrator, designer, creator of comic books, graduate of the painting department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (studio of A. Nacht-Samborski). Beginning in 1973, he worked for "Świat Młodych" for several years . He designed the layout of the weekly magazine "Together" and worked as a graphic designer in this magazine, publishing the series "Together with a Practical Gentleman". In 1976 he collaborated with "Relax," where his comic strips appeared, including "Orient-Men." He created such popular characters as Professor NERWOSOLEK and Shaggy and Bubble. In the 1980s, Baranowski's comics made their way into albums. Some of them were reprints from "World of Youth," while others were drawn completely from scratch for the original script.
