The hilt closed, brass binding, gilded. Shielded, double-barreled yoke. Tapering shield on the dorsal side ending in a decorative knob bent towards the head. The front shield passes into a bail connected to the hood. The side bail diverges from the outer side of the shield and connects halfway to the main bail. The shaft of the handle is wooden, cross-cannelled, covered with leather and laced with brass filigree. The shaft with the bottom fixed in the shield socket with the top by a short hood riveted with the shaft of the head. Handle decorated with a laurel leaf vise and rosettes. The head of steel, polished, nickel-plated, with moderate curvature. Profiled on both sides into a single wide adventitious furrow. The pen is double-edged, the hilt in line with the ridge.
