OTRA Field 71 Binoculars, No. 100279
A pair of OTRA binoculars manufactured in the 1970s. The body is covered with a veneer imitating black leather, characteristic of Japanese-made binoculars from that period. The model is equipped with coated optics,which improve image quality by reducing light reflections.
The original manufacturer’s markings are still visible on the body: “OTRA Precision Made – Coated Optics,” “7 × 50,” “Field 7.1,” and “No. 100279.” The optical specifications indicate 7x magnification and 50 mm objective lenses, providing a bright image and a wide field of view.
