Biography
Graduate of the National High School of Fine Arts in Gdynia Orlowo. She studied philosophy and art history, but dropped out. The knowledge gained during this time had a significant impact on her work. Her interest in art theory and reflection on issues of aesthetics, time and existence shape her perception of the world and translate into the painterly language she uses. In her work, the artist focuses on urban, industrial landscapes. She combines the austerity of architecture with the atmospheric play of light and color, creating compositions with a distinct character. She is currently working on a series of paintings dedicated to the Gdansk Shipyard - a place with a rich history, which in the artist's interpretation becomes a symbol of the constant transformation and rhythm of the city. In her painting, the port cranes take on almost human characteristics - they become silent witnesses of time, full of strength, and at the same time marked with traces of the past. The artist strives for a synthesis of forms and color, giving her works a character that balances between realism and painterly conventionality. She began her artistic journey with her debut vernissage in 2018 in Stara Kiszewa. In the same year, she participated in a group vernissage of paintings in Kaliska. In 2023, her works were presented at a collective vernissage entitled "Gdansk", held at the Spa House in Gdansk Brzeźno on the occasion of National Independence Day.
